As you’ve come this far north the Orkney Islands are well worth a visit and are easy to get to by Ferry from either Scrabster Harbour (10 minutes away - passenger & car ferry), Gills Bay (20 minutes away - passenger & car ferry), or John O’Groats (30 minutes away - passenger ferry).
